This Sunday (April 3rd) is the next
Active Streets Gainesville event, which coincides with day #2 of the annual Spring Art Festival, downtown.
Due to the close proximity of these 2 popular events, we are expecting a big turnout for Active Streets!
GCC will once again provide our FREE bike valet, this time serving BOTH events, and we'll also have our usual chalk art area in the middle of one of Gainesville's busiest intersections.
This is a great opportunity to volunteer for GCC while also being able to enjoy these 2 great outdoor events. Free, secure parking for your bike, too. Win-win!
If you wouldn't mind helping out for an hour or 2 (basically, opening
boxes of chalk and chatting with folks about our Club, or staffing the
Bike Valet and chatting with folks about our Club), please email or call me!
FYI: Active Streets takes place from 11 a.m until 3 p.m.
Spring Art Festival (Sunday) is from 12 noon until 5 p.m.
**Greatest volunteer need is at GCC's Chalk Art area.**
