Century
So, Derek won't attack -except for sprint points- and
it's
not an attack if you don't stand up according to Rob.
Should be an interesting no-attack
workout.

A
lot of us have been racing lately, been busy, or just too lazy to go and do
the
Glider's training century. There's some that are lucky enough to go climb
the
mountains of Georgia...others that have very busy lives. So I'm starting a
new
tradition. The A-Riders Century. We will be riding South from Kangaroo (old
Le
Store) and doing a modified version (in reverse) of the Horse Farm Hundred
(we
don't want to wear out the Santa Fe route before the actual ride). For
those
interested, I have traced the route here: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3214284and yes it is only
97.552, but you should be riding to the start instead of wasting gas :-p !
Usual meeting time 8:00 for a 8:15 departure. I have the rest area planned at around 45 miles
into
the ride (in Lowell...yes I know we visit a lot, but maybe we can become
preferred customers?), so bring enough munchies and thirsties. Speed will
be
usual speed (20+ mph cruising)...no rules, but I'll tell you straight out,
that
I won't be doing any attacking 30 miles into a 100 mile ride (sprint points
are
not attacks). Hope to see everyone who isn't up there Six-Gapping out on
Saturday :). Derek
