Micanopy ride on
Saturday
On Saturday, Nov. 12 we will meet in
downtown Micanopy at 9am for a 9:15am departure for a 35 mile
ride at
16 mph. An option to add a few more miles near the end will be
available. We will go south to visit the zebras, then take
Dungarvin
Road over to the rest stop in McIntosh. After the rest stop we will go out
to
the Boardman peninsula and then up through Evinston and past the llama farm
on
the way back.
Traxler ride on Sunday
On Sunday, Nov. 13, we will meet next to the
main
tourist shop at exit 404 of I-75 (route 236 is the east-west road) to ride
the
northern part of the Santa Fe Century route. This is a scenic ride of
45
miles, with one rest stop. Meeting time is 9am for a 9:15am departure.
Anticipate a speed of about 16 mph.
Exit 404 is the first exit north of the
Alachua
exit on I-75, and is about 17 miles north of Newberry Road.
