As Temperatures Rise, The Roads in Brooker Heat Up

GAINESVILLE, FL -- The roads in Brooker heated up today as thirty people took on the July installment of the Gainesville TT Challenge on this warm and humid summer day.  Many new faces from Gainesville came out for the first stab at the event, and Jacksonville represented in full force with a big Open Road contingent.

The Merckx field was stacked deep with sixteen people.  Series leader, and one man wrecking crew Dave Gibson, fell short of breaking his course record, but considering his result would have put him in the top-six of the Aero Competitor field, he still had one of the most
impressive times of the day.

The Aero field was also fully stacked, with Derek Schanze trying to break his course record.  But, he found a worthy challenger in Tom Schneider from Open Road, with Tom putting down the fastest time of the day.

And now on to the results.
