Fellow GCC Members,
There will be a "Tween Bee" ride (14-15 mph average) leaving Alachua tomorrow morning following the High Bees on their 38-40 mile route. Please meet per Mike Steinberg's instructions below. This is a nice option for those late-season High Bees who've been hibernating this winter and aren't yet up to mid-season form! Join us for a friendly, no-drop ride.
As always, GCC ride rules apply. Safety first.
Please call or email me with any questions or concerns,
Barb Wills (210) 378-1547 cell
Day: Saturday, February 20th
Time: 11:00am meeting, 11:15 departure
Meeting Place: Parking lot across the street from Conestoga’s Steakhouse on Main Street in downtown Alachua.
Route and Mileage: We will do a variation of the Pre-Columbian ride, mostly being the northern portion of it and will total 38-40 miles.
Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 16-17 MPH. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed or for mechanical or rider related issues.
If you are new to GCC and are looking for a weekly ride with a moderate pace and moderate distance, please feel free to join us.
Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest of a sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.
