You can help shape the future of Phifer Flatwoods Preserve
Alachua County, with assistance from a Florida Communities Trust grant and the Alachua Conservation Trust, acquired 644 ± acres south of State Road 20, between County Roads 234 and 20-A. The property was acquired to protect, preserve and enhance the unique natural and cultural resources found there, and to provide an enjoyable and educational passive recreational experience. A management plan is being developed for the property, and we are seeking public input.
