We’ve filled all of the volunteer slots for the Saturday and Sunday of the Festival.  This is the first time we’ve been able to do this, so thanks to everyone who has volunteered.

 

Registration numbers continue to look good, though it is still early in the process.  The special t-shirt deadline is “in my hands” by Wednesday mail; entries placed in the mail by tomorrow (Tue) in Gainesville should make it in time (no mail today, something about sailing the ocean blue in 1492).  For standard t-shirts and rides, entries can be mailed through Saturday.

 

If you can consider stepping up next year and take on the Facility Director or the Equipment Director jobs, we would like to get you signed up now so that you can apprentice this year and be ready for next year.  Both of these jobs involve doing things in the months before the Festival.  We believe that if we have a person dedicated to these tasks, they will be done better and allow the overall Directors to look more at the big picture.  “Many hands make light work.”
