The Hokey Pokey group will ride from Micanopy to Cross Creek and back on Saturday, Dec. 18.  Riders should meet at 9:00 with a 9:15 start time. The ride will be about 22 to 24 miles.

We will ride to Cross Creek, home of the Marjorie Kinnen Rawlings historic site.  Ms. Rawlings, who wrote The Yearling and Cross Creek, had a home and orange grove that have become a state park.  Along the way we will visit the River Styx and on the return trip we will pass through Evinston.

Everyone is welcome is come on this ride (of course, you must wear a bike helmet).  Don't worry about being slow, no one is slower than me and we never leave anyone behind.

The ride will be chaperoned by the ride leader who will ride at the back of the group to make sure no one gets lost.  The ride leader is also a bicycle mechanic who can help fix flat tires and help with any other mechanical problems.
