Saturday,
Strays will ride 32 miles of the far NW section of the Santa Fe Century.
Very scenic, slightly hilly, ride with a
mid ride stop at Kelly Jo's horse farm for fluids.
We do this ride about once a year, and its one of
the Strays favorite away rides. This ride includes the beautiful
Feagle roads.
You don't get to see this section of the Santa Fe if you ride one of the
shorter rides of the Santa Fe, during the Cycling
Festival.
Bring whatever snacks you need, or purchase at the
BP station before departure, the only
facilities at Kelly Jo's will be a restroom and water.
If you
have not been out riding with the Strays before you will need to read all
of the information at:
http://gccfla.org/cgi-bin/webridedetail.cgi?groupid=8
Arrive by 9 to depart at 9:15
am
Park:
Ride will start from near Watermelon Park
in Myrtis.close to
the intersection of 441 and 240. Park in the SW corner of that
intersection in the grass, or at Watermelon Park. There is a BP Station in easy walking distance of

Myrtis is about 30 miles NW of Gainesville at the intersection of 441- 41
and SW County
Road 240. You can get there easily by going
north out of Gainesville on 441,
or taking 441 and I-75.
Post ride the hungry will probably
head for a restaurant in High Springs or Alachua.
Call or email if you need
directions, or have other questions.
