The City of Gainesville is sponsoring bike rides as part of Earth Day celebrations. 

 

There will be a "family ride" on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 at the Boulware Springs trailhead. This ride is suitable for riders of all abilities. The City will provide refreshments.

 

There will be family-oriented off-road bike ride at the San Felasco Trails starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 23.   Off-road bikes a recomended for these dirt trails.  Following the ride, a refreshments and a lunch of jambalya will be served.

 

All GCC members are invited to both rides.  We especially need ride chaperones for the Saturday ride on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail.   Please let Chandler at chanbike@xxxxxxx  know if you can help with the Saturday ride.
