For those doing the 13 hours of Santos - I rode the course twice today - its 8 miles and they only have one red trail - Sink Hole (the course was modified due to rain) - other than that its a balls to the walls fast course - there was quite a bit of mud and slippery roots as my backside will attest to but its gonna be very very fast - the first 3.2 miles are flat out all you got - Sink Hole is about 5 miles in and its about one mile of tough riding - enough to slow us mere mortals down - after that its back to hammer time. I rode both laps in the 42minute range without going "race" pace. Have a great race - ride safe and see you out there
