The Hokey Pokey riding group will explore an 18 mile route from Hague
to the city of Alachua on Saturday, March 5. Riders should meet in
Hague (directions below) at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. ride start.
This ride will be on roads with automobile traffic. The roads
are low traffic rural roads.
Everyone is welcome to come on this ride (of course, you must
wear a bike helmet). Don't worry about being slow, no one is slower
than me and we never leave anyone behind.
The ride will be chaperoned by the ride leader who will ride at the
back of the group to make sure no one gets lost. The ride leader is
also a bicycle mechanic who can help fix flat tires and help with any other
mechanical problems.
Directions to Hague: Go north on US 441, past
the intersection with State Road 121. Five miles north of the SR 121
intersection, take the right fork onto County Road 25A and turn into the
picnic area on left. (352) 215-4247
