Since many of the
regular LoBee riders can and do ride faster than the LoBee average of 15
mph,
and since Bob is out of town this weekend, Bob has suggested that any
LoBees who
occasionally ride with the HighBees and can sustain a 17-18 mph pace
for 51
miles might want to ride with Michael Steinberg's group on Saturday from
Dylan's
Grove. Michael's last ride was most excellent and the poolside
gathering afterward provided a cool-down setting and a chance to sit
down
and talk a bit, without shouting over wind noise, in the beautiful
cabana
complex by the community pool at Dylan's Grove. "A good time was
had
by all."
If you don't think you can maintain the stated pace
of
17-18 mph, you can rest your legs on Saturday and ride the
combined
LoBee/Saddle Tramp ride from Melrose on Sunday June 12, which be more
"relaxed"
and a bit shorter at 37 miles.
