THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!

The Friends of Paynes Prairie and the Gainesville Cycling Club will have a moonlight ride on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail on Friday, Nov. 11.

Riders should meet at the Hawthorne Trailhead at 6:00 p.m. for a 6:15 start time. All riders must wear helmets and have headlights and taillights.

We will ride west on the GH Railtrail for one hour and then turn around and return to the trailhead. Following the ride, we will invade one of Hawthorne's finer restaurants and dine to our delight.

Sonny's Barbecue has both excellent barbecue and one of the best salad bars. The new Cracker Boys restaurant on north US 301 is a traditional southern style buffet, with all manner of redneck cuisine.

Chandler is ride leader and invites riders of all abilities to join us. Chandler rides real slow and will not leave beginning riders behind.
