Each fall the rides that rotate between the North (Chevron) and South (Kangaroo) start locations follow a schedule determined by the Gator home game schedule.  We have found that the roads we use to the South are heavily traveled by Gator fans, and that we can do a better job of avoiding them on our Northern routes.  So if the Gators are in town, we go North.  Otherwise, generally, we go South.
