Hi Everyone,

We will have an off-road ride this Saturday, August 1, at Balm Boyette Scrub Preserve near Tampa. Meet at the bike trailhead at 9-915am. (Apologies for the late notice, there was originally a ride planned for Dauset but that has been canceled due to stormy weather in central Georgia.) Boyette is a really fun place to ride with lots of trails for all skill levels!

For more information on the trails as well as directions to Boyette, please see: http://www.swampclub.org/boyette/ It takes about 2 hours to get to Boyette from Gainesville.

Please note, there is no running water or trail maps at the trailhead - bring plenty of water and print out a map of the trails if you plan on riding. Let me know if you plan on joining us for the ride so I can be sure everyone is there before we start the ride. If you work up a good appetite, there are a few places to grab a bite to eat after the ride (we usually go to Panera).
