On Saturday 24 Apr Sunrise is 653 am.  Later in the day, it is likely a breeze of ~10 mph will spring up from S shifting to SSW even later in the day. Morning low will be ~65 F, by ~11 am it will likely be in mid 70s.

I'm planning to leave my house at 655 am.  Le Store is ~5 miles away. I will be there warming up slowly, but will arrive by 720 am.  I will wait till 725 am, then I will be heading out to do the Lowell route IN REVERSE...heading out Rocky Point Rd then 441 South to take advantage of lighter traffic at the hour.  I will come in via Short Wacahoota Rd and 121. (See link below)  I will have the map with me. NOTE: from Le Store this route is only 65 miles.

From my doorstep to doorstep, for me this route will be 75 miles.  But, for any Sunrisers or others, who want to do a shorter route, there are ways to shorten this route substantially by cutting back west on 320, 193rd St = Dungarvin Rd, 318, & 316 which will all take you to 239 North.  Open the link below to see the map.

I'm doing this because we would get a weak tailwind home and this route mimics part of the RTR #4 coming up on 15 May.

This is meant to be a long endurance cruising ride.  Flat ground cruising speed is CAPPED at 22 mph...that would be with the tailwind. If there are just a few of us, I suspect this speed will be more like 20 mph steady.  County line and city limit sign sprints are welcome, but please let me catch up.  Also, I now suck climbing hills...could you wait for me after we get pass the hills on Dungarvin?

This means Sunrise Rules apply...regrouping at turns.  Usual GCC rules for pack riding. Helmets, ability to repair a flat, cell phone, etc. If I ride alone, I will likely not stop but for a quick nature break.  As a group, I'm good with one store stop of ~10 minutes which can be done in 3-4 places on this route to be determined by the group.

Whether with a group at 20+ mph or alone at 19 mph, I intend to be home by 11 am, 1130 am at the latest.
