Saturday, April 10^th:

MEET: DeSoto Park in Hague

TIME: Meet at 9 am for a 9:10 departure.

PARK: In the park parking lot next to the convenience store on Hwy 441 about 2.2 mi. north of the NW 43^rd St. & Hwy 441 intersection.

Expect around 30 miles at about 15 MPH on the flats. 

As always: helmets are mandatory, mirrors are recommended.

NOTE: Please note the 15 minute later start time as we will depart with the “Tween Bees” and pick your pleasure, staying on the Trail the whole way or opting for a little road ride also.

Sunday – April 11^st:

MEET: Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail (Leaving from Boulware Springs)

                (directions below)

TIME: Meet at 9:15 am, depart by 9:30 am.

PARK: In any lot you wish.  We will depart from the dirt lot nearest NE 15^th St.

Expect 31 miles at about 15 MPH on the flats. 

As always: helmets are mandatory, mirrors are recommended.

To get to the Boulware Springs dirt lot:

From the intersection of Waldo Road (24/331) and University Ave (26), proceed East on University for about a quarter mile, the road forks, take the right fork, which is Hawthorne Rd. (20), in about another block take a right (going south) on SE 15th st., continue south for about 2.25 miles until you see the brown Gainesville Hawthorne Trail sign on your right. Pass the first entrance to the park, but enter the second entrance a few hundred feet further south.

Tween/LoBee Start:  Meet at Boulware Springs park (dirt lot, see below for directions) at 9:15 A.M. for approximately 9:30A.M departure (joining HiBees) Sunday April 11.

Route and Mileage: Ride east on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail (GHT), turn right onto CR 325, go south to Cross Creek, and then return to Boulware Springs. Round trip is approximately 38 miles, with Tween/LoBee pace of 14-16 mph.

 

This is a friendly, no drop ride. Helmets required. Mirrors recommended.
