This Saturday, March 17, we will meet at Flemington Community Park at 9am for a 9:15am departure. Expect a ride of 35 miles through the Horse Farm Country, including stops at the horse statue and at the eagle’s nest. Expect a pace of about 16-17 mph. There will be one rest stop.

 

To get to Flemington from the south (Ocala), take the Irvine exit on I-75 and go west on CR 318 until you hit the intersection with CR 329. Flemington Community Park is one block north of this intersection. From the north (Gainesville), take the Micanopy exit on I-75 and go southwest on CR 234, which becomes CR 329 once it enters Marion County. Flemington Community Park is about six miles ahead on your right, one block north of the intersection with CR 318.

 

In the event of inclement weather on Saturday morning, we will meet at the same location on Sunday, but at 10am rather than 9am because of the cooler overnight forecast for Saturday night versus Friday night. Call to confirm if you are in doubt.
