That’s right one of only two races that take place in Gainesville this year is happening this Saturday. Don’t miss your chance to watch or take part in a great race at the Progress Park in Alachua. There are four races on Saturday Men’s A, Men’s B, Women’s 1-3 and Women’s 4. The racing starts at 2:00pm so come out and cheer on your favorites as they race in the first event of the year.

 

     Although the weather report calls for a cold morning the skies will be clear and the temperature should be in the mid 60’s by race time which should be perfect spectator conditions.

 

    This is the first race in a two race series, the second race is the following Saturday (1/24/2008) at the same location. So if you miss the first one make sure and mark your calendars for the second.

 

    Juniors 10-14 will be allowed to race with the Women’s 4 group. If you have any juniors that are interested in trying this great sport have them come out and try this great course.
