Following the email Roger Pierce sent out within the last two weeks, this is a "last call" reminder for anyone who has thought about ordering a pink ribbon jersey. I have most of the checks collected for the order and am just waiting now for the spring edition of the FBA's MESSENGER to arrive in the mail. It will include a story (with photo) about the jerseys, and I would like FBA members to have a chance to see the story and decide if they would like a jersey. This is the fourth and probably last order, so if you are on the fence, please order one now! Every penny of the proceeds (over and above the cost of having Louis Garneau manufacture them) goes directly to one of the breast cancer research foundations that I've mentioned in the past. These jerseys are much more reasonably priced than most you will see that are comparable. Women's and men's short sleeved versions are $65, women's sleeveless are $60, and matching gloves are $18. They make great gifts, for both cyclists and walkers, and before you know it, breast cancer awareness month (October) will be here again, and this time you'll have your jersey.
