This coming Sunday, Oct. 1, we will meet at Flemington Community Park at 8:30am for an 8:45am departure. Expect a ride of 45 miles through the Horse Farm Country, as we will do the 45-mile option of the Horse Farm Hundred from Flemington. Expect a pace of about 16-17 mph.

 

To get to Flemington from the south (Ocala), take the Irvine exit on I-75 and go west on CR 318 until you hit the intersection with CR 329. Flemington Community Park is one block north of this intersection. From the north (Gainesville), take the Micanopy exit on I-75 and go southwest on CR 234, which becomes CR 329 once it enters Marion County. Flemington Community Park is about six miles ahead on your right, one block north of the intersection with CR 318.

 

The following Saturday, Oct. 7, we will meet in Traxler (Exit 404 on I-75) for a ride of about 45 miles. This ride will have a 9am meeting time, which will be the standard starting time until next spring.
