Strays will ride 23 miles to Worthington Springs and back this Thursday evening. This ride, except for a little less than one mile, is entirely on the excellent bike lanes on 121, and traffic is light in the evenings.  Average speed for Strays is typically 12 - 14 mph, but you can ride any speed that suits you, as you can't get lost on this route.  Restroom / convenience stop of about 15 minutes at the mid-point in Worthington Springs. Ice cream bars often available for 33 cents!   Depart from Velvet Yates home around 6:30 pm,  depending upon the heat index, weather  and on what is convenient for the participants.    Lights will be required for this ride as the return will be entirely in the dark.
