Mark your calendars for an alternative Tuesday evening road bike ride called the "Rouleur Ride" (roo-lair). Rouleur is French for the strong, steady and reliable racers that pro teams rely on to keep the pack together for one reason or another.

The Rouleur Ride intends to emulate this spirit by encouraging fast but steady rotations with no sprinting, surging or attacking.

This weekly ride is to be a reliable training platform for fit racers / riders who wish to safely maintain a high pace without fear of shenanigans that might get them dropped.

This is not a ride for beginners. You need to possess adequate pack skills to ensure the safety of others. If your skills are in question you will be asked to surf the back and observe for a while.

Riders who sprint, surge or attack will be uninvited or referred to a different ride that starts a few blocks away.

The ride will start every Tuesday evening at 6:00 sharp from The Freewheel Project at 618 South Main Street, Gainesville. Parking is limited so try to ride to the start. Executive Director Ryan Aulton has kindly allowed us access the facility as needed.
