I had planned to ask at the Ride with the Commish event tomorrow morning.  There are supposed to be a few Public Works staff members riding.  

I had heard before that the South side had some other drainage pipe issues for remediation, but it looks like  they have pulled up at least three sections of sidewalk?

They seem to be doing a lot of construction on the south side of 8th Ave. east of 34th St.  They seem to be tearing up from the curb all the way through and including the sidewalk.  Does anyone know what's up?  Did they change their mind about putting in a bike lane?
