GCC hosted a very popular FREE bike valet at the last Active Streets event. Now that we are experienced, we are expanding our FREE bike valet service to other worthy events.

But, we need volunteers!

I'm looking for a minimum of 3 people per event to help staff a GCC-sponsored FREE bike valet service that I have committed to provide for the following outstanding local events:

1)  Art Walk on Friday 02/26.  Event starts at 7:00 p.m. Bike valet area will be in the Power District in the Downtown/SoMa area, near the GRU complex.

2) Menagerie in Motion Kinetic Derby.  Saturday 02/27. (Yes this is the same day as El Presidente's awesome Heartbreaker event. You will have a hard time choosing which event to volunteer for, I know).  Same venue as Art Walk, above. Event runs from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

3) Active Streets Gainesville.  Sunday, April 3rd.  Event runs from 11:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m., on W. University Avenue between 6th ST and NE Boulevard.

What your duties could include:   set up, tear down, greeting riders and checking bikes in and out, keeping an eye on bikes while they are in a roped-off area while their owners enjoy the event.
