This is a reminder that Active Streets Gainesville will take place on Sunday, Oct. 18th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. University Avenue will be closed to motorized traffic between W. 6th ST and NE Boulevard for your car-free enjoyment.
Come out and enjoy the afternoon with your family, friends, and neighbors.
This is a kid-friendly event featuring live music, food, and lots of free activities to get everyone moving! Restaurants (and pubs) along the route will be open. Bike, skate, scoot, push a stroller, but leave the car behind.
This event features a FREE bike valet, courtesy of GCC! Look for GCC at the corner of University and Main, near the chalk art area.
