You're invited to attend a public workshop pertaining to our Gainesville-area Year 2040 Long-Range Transportation Plan on Monday (09/21) from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Senior Recreation Center located at 5701 NW 34th Boulevard, Gainesville, FL.

Do you think our roads need to be designed to be safer for cyclists and pedestrians?  Should right turns on red be abolished at certain intersections, to make crossing streets safer? Are more bus routes needed?  Is it time Alachua County had a full-time paid bicycle-pedestrian liaison on staff?  (We currently don't have one).  Attend the workshop and make your concerns known!
