This past weekend I had an accident that was caused by the "lip" of the sidewalk. When I talked to Martin at Supercool he said he had heard a lot of stories about people breaking their arms and getting injured from the same defect. 

The city of Gainesville didn't add an extra layer of pavement to the road. so many areas are not level with the sidewalk. I wanted to bring this to the city's attention, but I have not been able to contact the city commission yet. 

Please be careful if you have to go onto the sidewalk for any reason.
