Calling all commuter cyclists! The GCC Commuters Group will hold its next quarterly get-together on Saturday, 12 September at 5:30 PM. This time we’ll meet at Satchel's Pizza, located at 1800 NW 23rd Ave. More info is available at Satchels Pizza. 

With UF starting back up, the amount of traffic has jumped, so now is a good time to talk commuting best practices. We'll revisit some ideas from the initial meeting and talk about infrastructure projects around town, as well as whatever participants want to discuss about to commuter cycling. 

I also note the headline of this morning's NPR website, entitled "As More Adults Pedal, Their Biking Injuries and Deaths Spike, Too." Recent publications in JAMA and other medical journals speculate as to the causes. This will be a very germane point of departure for discussion.
