Hello All,

This is for all the Gear techs out there....or anyone that rides with an

Iphone4......I have found the lightest and strongest bike mount for

the Iphone4....They also make universal adapters to attach to other devices

to use with the mount. I have no experience with the universal adapter

yet but the Iphone4 mount is rock solid the biggest pothole will not

shake it loose.....No more Iphone bouncing down the highway....which

happened on todays ride.......

The mount is called QuadLock Case......it is from Australia....

Sometime in September they also coming out with a waterproof

cover that will fit over the mount for about 15.00

Some other useful info.......I use the cyclemeter program on the iphone 

and learned I could export TCX files.....I then signed up for Garmin Connect

a free service....during the process of creating your account skip the part where it asks

what garmin device you have.....not needed.....when complete go to upload

and select manual upload the choose the TCX file you exported from cyclemeter

and you will then have all those great looking graphs and data sheets Ed Gardner 

has been posting following rides.....

The Livestrong device you see in the photos is a 1700mah external battery I picked

up from radio shack for 20.00+ dollars it is cool itself in that it acts as a dual USB

charger and AC adapter.....I attach it to the iphone and place it into a top bar bag.

I ready do not need the extra battery on these short rides but for you longer distance

people it would be great.....there are also many higher capacity batteries out there as well.

Hope someone finds this useful .....no more iphones bouncing down the highway
