I need some help with the Labor Day Picnic (Monday, Spet. 3). If you can help, please reply.

 

1) Hosts or Hostess:  Need someone to arrange tables with food, silverware (actually plastic ware) and to monitor and restock any condiments.

 

2) Burger flippers:   This is fun,  need people to tend the grill and flip the burgers

 

3) Bun slicers:  I know this reference will provoke naughty jokes, but since better quality buns (Kaiser rolls and mini hoagie rolls) come from the store un-sliced, we need one or two people to slice the buns.

 

 

4) Picnic site cleaners:  Bring a broom or small rake to sweep leaves off the concrete picnic tables.  This job can be done anytime, including on days before the picnic.   Our picnic site is the tables and grill area west of the Pumphouse on the hill.
