To the club,

I’m the coordinator for “Bikes 4 Vets”, working to give bikes to vets so they’re able to get to work, school and make appointments with the VA.  For over three years we’ve been working with the 45 vets at the Honor Center:

We’ve recently started helping vets who live in subsidized housing in the community.  Right now we’ve had plenty of two-wheeled bikes from a number of sources including some of the bike shops, folks from the club, donations from advertising, and the city surplus yard (but we can always use more!).

Right now I have a disabled vet at the Honor Center who’s not able to ride a two wheeled bike, which is the reason for this email. 

If you can help donate a trike or have a source for one, please let me know.
