Just FYI,
We'll be stopping frequently along the way to discuss different skills, hydrate, etc . . . so the 16 miles shouldn't be a problem even if they've never gone that far. That section of the trail is well shaded at that time of day. Still, bring lots of beverage and maybe a snack or two.
This is a welcome but atypical teaching ride (given the age of the riders and it being pavement, not off road), so if you have any questions feel free to call us at 225-3585.

James leads the Developer rides, and has taught hundreds of people the skills needed to ride safely in a group.Ultimately, we would like to have an MS150 Junior team for the Cycle to the Shore ride next year (end Sept/early Oct 2013).This is a ride for people between 12 and 15 years of age, and able to ride steadily at about 14/15 mph minimum and have a road bike (no mountain bikes or leisure bikes). They should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If this is successful, we will try and fit in a follow up before this year’s MS ride at the end of September.RegardsTony CousinsBike Works of JonesvilleandBroker Associate
