You can help The Kickstand win $1000 or $500 to help continue their mission of providing bicycle-related services to the community, including children in low-income neighbors, veterans, individuals who are homeless, and women seeking services at Peaceful Paths. If you are on Facebook, please visit SunSate Federal Credit Union’s Facebook page (http://woobox.com/sbxkdp/vote?web=1) and vote for The Kickstand. You can vote once daily.

The charity with the most votes in April wins $1000. Each vote given to the charity enters them into a drawing for a $500 random prize. You, the voter, are also entered into a random drawing of $100 each time that you vote. The Kickstand is far behind first place at the moment, but with the size of GCC, we can get them back into the running.

Thank you for your support!

About the The Kickstand: a partner with the Homeless Coalition, The Kickstand is Gainesville's non-profit community bike shop. We provide free bike clinics while teaching bicycle maintenance and repairs. 1,170 volunteer hours were provided in 2014 and 46 bikes were donated to kids, 50 to the Honor Center and
VetSpace, 5 to the Junior League, 5 to the homeless, and 2 to Peaceful Paths. 5 Wounded Warrior Project bikes were repaired. Funds will supply consumables and tools for expanding hours.
