There were 120-130 people, mostly Haile Plantation residents,  at the Archer Braid Workshop on Wednesday.   During citizen comment, several GCC members spoke in favor of the Archer Braid Trail.

 

The good news?   More than half of the Haile Plantation residents who spoke were in favor of the Trail.

 

The plans, the 30% engineering plans, will be presented to the Alachua county Commission sometime in September.   If the 30% plan is approved by the Commission, the County staff will begin work on the 60% plan.

 

When the plan is presented to the Commission, it would be good for bicycle advocates to attend to show support for the Trail.
