FYI in case it hasn't been reported, CR-318 between Williston and Flemington is being resurfaced. If you've ridden down there you know how bad the pavement has been -- patched, cracked and tar-snaked.

I stopped today and talked with a flagman. He said old pavement is being removed and under-road culverts are being replaced, then new asphalt will go down. It's a big job covering around 7-8 miles. He said he thinks repaving won't be completed until December.

From the Williston end I could see nothing but dirt, road machinery and one lane open to traffic. It doesn't look like any fun for cycling now, but it could be a sweet Christmas gift for all of us who ride in that area.
