Even though I have to be out of town Saturday morning, I am planning a round 2 work day at the Rock trail for this Saturday (July 14th) at 8:00 a.m.  The work will solely be focused on putting more lime rock down in the front sink hole.  We had a 20 minute torrential Saturday afternoon that washed some of the lime rock away that we had put down before it could be ridden and packed down.  After sitting for a week and having a lot of tires roll over it, the existing lime rock should be packed down and ready for a second application.

This Saturday's work day will only last about an hour to an hour and a half.  Tim has offered that anyone who comes out this Saturday and races the next Wednesday race (on July 18th) will have their entry fee covered.

The only tools needed for this Saturday will be wheelbarrows, shovels, a firm rake and a tamper tool.

Again, wheelbarrows are the hardest to come by so please let me know if you can bring one.

Thanks!

Clint

PS  Anyone is welcome to do work at the trail outside of scheduled work days.  If you want to take a wheelbarrow and a shovel out there and lay down some lime rock over the roots, please feel free to do so (or any other work) at any time!
