Dear Friends:
The EZ Riders will join the Hokey-Pokies this Saturday 2 June on
the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail, meeting at Boulware Springs City
Park at 8:00 AM for departure at 8:15. Chandler did not specify
which parking lot, so we will be in the North lot, the first turn
into Boulware Springs City Park on your Right coming South from
Hawthorne road. Lunch after somewhere. Also water, bug juice,
and sun screen, if you wish. No services on the trail, although
there is an outhouse at MM7, and a water fountain at MM1.
See you Saturday. Questions? 333.3184.
Cheers,
George

The Hokey Pokey group will ride the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail
Saturday, June 2. Riders should meet at Boulware Springs at 8:00
a.m. for a 8:15 ride start. Please bring friends, family and
newcomers to this ride.
The ride will be 15 miles on a paved bike trail. There are no
cars on this route, just cyclists and hikers.
PLEASE NOTE: This may be the last e-mail sent
on GCC Mail to announce rides. Please check the GCC website's
new "Ride Schedulesite for future postings of Hokey Pokey rides.
If you would like to recieve an e-mail announcement of Hokey Pokey
rides, please e-mail me and I can include you on the e-mail group
announcement of Hokey Pokey rides.
Everyone is welcome to come on this ride (of course, you must
wear a bike helmet). Don't worry about being slow, no one is
slower than me and we never leave anyone behind.
The ride will be chaperoned by the ride leader who will ride
at the back of the group to make sure no one gets lost. The
ride leader is also a bicycle mechanic who can help fix flat
tires and help with any other mechanical problems.
If you need directions to Boulware Springs, please e-mail me.
