Saturday, Strays will ride in the McIntosh area for a hill work out. This ride has been called
the 'Mommy' ride by some who found it too punishing, but its only 33 miles.
Other than the torture of the hills it is a beautiful scenic ride utilizing some of the famous Horse Farm Century and Tours courses, and some other exceptional roads that the Horse Farm never touches. Yes, Dungarvin is included, both directions. Lots of other lesser famed hills are included for good measure.
Strays +, lead by Velvet Yates and Allen Kushner, will do the Mommy ride also, then extend in to a longer ride of about 75
miles at a faster clip in preparation for the Ride to Remember. This will include some of the Ride to Remember loops.
Post ride we may eat at either Rocky's Villa, Blue Highway or the Pearl Station, depending on the democratic process.
If you have not been out riding with the Strays before you will need to read all of the information at:
The ride will depart from Flemington Park (the start point for the Horse Farm Tours) at 9:15 am.
There will be a convenience store/ rest room stop about the mid point, and probably more on the extended ride.
Call or email if you need directions, or have other questions.
