The Gainesville Cycling Club supports the Ride To Remember by providing signs along the route (among other things).
We need a few people to put out signs before the ride on Saturday, May 19. The way the jobs work, you would be in great position to do a ride from Flemington after putting out your signs.
We need four volunteers:
1. Put out signs on the 50 mile loop from Gainesville. This can be done without driving all 50 miles if you end up in Flemington. There are seven signs to put out. If you start early, you can easily be at Flemington in time to make a ride start there, or start later (before 8 am), and work ahead of the ride.
2. Put out signs in the vicinity of the Flemington rest stop. These are larger signs directing persons driving in from I-75, and in the immediate vicinity of Flemington. There are 14 signs; the ones directing drivers to the ride start should be in place before 7 am.
3. Put out signs on the Pristine Fields Loop (a 25 mile drive from Flemington). There are ten signs on this loop. You can start as late as 7:45 and work ahead of the ride, or start earlier and be finished in time to start the ride at 8 am.
4. Put out signs on the Wild Horse Loop (a 25 mile drive from Flemington). There are seven signs on this loop. You can start as late as 7:45 and work ahead of the ride, or start earlier and be finished in time to start the ride at 8 am.
