Sure looks like a deliberate attack unless it was a texting or other distraction.

I thought it was interesting, almost puts you in the saddle, as you ride with storm drain grates in the bike lane and cars with the ever present fears of a door opening.

I'd also have to say, if they provide law enforcement with the video, these guys may also get citations for the two stop signs they ran. Certainly a black eye for cyclists though I'd bet we've all run a few stop signs.

Subject: GCCMail: Video of car hitting two bicyclists hit&run; driver arrested

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57423645/video-captures-calif-hit-an
d-run-leads-to-arrest/

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing a bike-camera view of
what it's like to get hit by a car.  The driver was subsequently
arrested.  I have thought more than once that it would be nice to have a
video camera on the bike to capture such an event, or just a driver
acting recklessly or harassing us.  The "hit" takes place at about 2:40
on the video.

"Be careful out there."
