The Saddle Tramps will ride Sunday, April 29th, from Boulware Springs.  Starting from the dirt parking lot, we will ride to Flemington and return for 50 miles, with a shorter option of 36 miles by cutting out the Flemington/Dungarvin portion of the ride.  The group doing the longer route will ride to Flemington park via the Trail to CR 234/329, then return via Dungarvin to 441, CR 225, CR346, CR 325 to the Trail and back to Boulware Springs.  The riders of the shorter route will start with the longer riders taking CR 234 to Micanopy, then head back via 441 to CR 346, to CR 325 up to the Trail for approximately 36 miles.

This will be a training ride for those of us who are touring Georgia beginning at the end of next week, although everyone is welcome to join us.

Be at Boulware in the dirt parking lot at 8:45 a.m. for an on-time departure at 9:00 a.m.  Saddle Tramps will ride from 12-15 mph on this ride, although those of us carrying our panniers may be slightly slower.  This will take approximately 5 hours for the longer ride, and 3 hours for the shorter ride.  A brief safety meeting for new riders will take place prior to leaving on the ride.

There are restrooms and water at the Flemington park and a small country store nearby.  Both rides have the option of stopping in Micanopy, where restrooms and food are available.
