Subject: GCCMail: GO/NOGO decision for Withlacoochee State Trail Hokey Pokey rideI will post a GO/NOGO decision tomorrow morning at 7AM. There is a chance that the expected overnight shower activity will have passed through the Inverness area before our 9:30AM roll out time. Temps should be in the low-to-mid 70s with light 4-5mph winds out of the south.Bruce Berry

Subject: Withlacoochee State Trail Hokey Pokey rideHokey Pokeys will ride a section of the Withlacoochee State Trail on Saturday, April 21st, starting from the Inverness Trailhead. At least one of our riders will be renting a bike from nearby Suncoast Bicycles, which does not open until 9AM; so we will not roll out until 9:30AM. Since winds are forecast to be out of the south on Saturday, we'll start out in that direction for about 10 miles and return to our starting point with the wind at our backs.Directions to the Inverness Trailhead:From US41: Once entering the Inverness city limits on US41 South, proceed to North Apopka Ave. Turn left and go approximately 3/10 of a mile and look for a red caboose on your left with signage for the Withlacoochee State Trail. From I-75: Take exit 329 and State Highway 44 west in the direction of Inverness. After ~15 miles, State Highway 44 will merge with US41 north; proceed to North Apopka Ave. Turn right and go approximately 3/10 of a mile and look for a red caboose on your left with signage for the Withlacoochee State Trail.Chandler continues to travel with the 2012 Coast2Coast group, and is currently close to the Louisiana/Mississippi border on his return trip to Florida. Bruce and Margaret Berry will be your substitute ride leaders in Chandler's absence.
