How do I transport a Long Wheel Base? Easy! I am also selling as part of the package a Sportworks Universal Recumbent Bike Rack. (Good luck trying to find a new one. The company was taken over by Yakima which discontinued production several years ago. Used ones are almost impossible to find.) It is simply the best Long Wheelbase recumbent rack ever made.
• Heavy-duty 2" hitch-mounted rack.
• No wheel removal required.
• Carries 1 recumbent or standard bike only.
• Ratcheting quick load
arms fold flat and hitch rotates 90 degrees upright for travelling without
bike. Has clamps built in and does not need ropes
or straps. Easy to use and very secure. Bike can be cable locked to the rack.
*Locking
Anti-Wobble Hitch bolt protects the rack from theft.
I am
offering the Rans and the Sportworks rack at a combined reduced "to sell
quickly" price to fellow GCC members (I've been a member since 1989) and
their friends before I place an ad on eBay and Craigs List.
I prefer to sell locally, quickly and to friends, rather than experience the hassle
of selling on the internet.
