Hello everyone, it's time for an end of month challenge update!

As of today's date, we have 278 members aboard GCC's team, and are drawing closer to 500,000 points.  However, the second placed team, Omaha, is hot on our heels and potentially closing the gap.  Please be diligent about logging your miles, we do not want to relinquish our lead.

Everyone, please ask friends, spouses, neighbours, etc, to join GCC's team, and help contribute to our team's lead of the National Mileage Challenge. I would love to see 300+ riders contributing.

Endomondo Sync Issue

There is an issue relating to synching between Endomondo, and the Bike Challenge website. Typically, miles are synced in about 15 minutes or less.  However, the current sync time seems to be around four (4) hours.  Be patient, your miles will eventually appear.

Onto the statistics:

1. Number one team in the Nation - Gainesville Cycling Club.

2. 278 riders now registered on the club's team. NEXT GOAL, THREE HUNDRED RIDERS.

3. . Miles / Kms clocked since May 1 (at 3:00pm EST) - 254,419 Miles / 407,070 Kilometres.

Notable Mentions

Michael Beckham competed in his first ever race oriented event, at last weekend's Ken Sallot Invitational Time Trial.  Mike laid down a very respectable time, that many folks would be envious of.  Why is Mike receiving a mention?  Mike happens to be 69 years of age.  Mike is no #oldguy, and his miles were logged with GCC's challenge team.  Well done!

Jeremy Coffey, another first timer at a race oriented event, also competed in last weekend's time trial.  Jeremy had a blast at the time trial, and is looking forward to improving his time at the next edition.  His miles were also logged with the challenge.  Nice!
