SUSTITUTE RIDE LEADER : Mike Gamble
THE PLAN: The bike lane on 235 isn't complete yet, so we're doing our normal loop with the exception of 235 in front of the Krishna farm area. Instead we will continue on 236 out to 121 and then rejoin our normal loop on 156th. I've mapped the route on "Map My Ride":
http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/79076470
THE PACE: Usual Sunrise rules. Overall Average speed = 19-21 mph, regroup at turns, no speed limit once we hit Millhopper on the way in. (Back to the Chevron by ~9:30am)
THE LOWDOWN: By getting out earlier, the Sunrise rides offer less traffic, less wind, less precipitation and great company. There are no rest stops, thus maximizing our ride time. Get a 2+ hour ride in and still get home in time to maximize your Saturday.
If you're not currently on the Sunrise rider mailing list and would like to be, go to the members page on the GCC website, navigate to the 'My Riding' box and click the 'Join a Group' button. Hope to see everyone out there.
