Wed, Apr 4, 7:30 PM: Moonlight
bicycle ride: To see the park at
night, the Friends of San Felasco CSO (Citizen Support Organization) sponsors
quarterly night bike rides on the Wednesday closest to the full moon. Night
rides require that you provide your own primary lights for off-road duty: the
brighter, the better. You should also carry a back-up light in case of
emergency. Primary lights should be capable of a minimum burn time of two
hours. The park entry fee is waived, but a $5.00 donation is requested for
each rider who is not a CSO member. This event is free for CSO members. Note
that anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Rides leave from the CSO building at park headquarters (12720 NW 109th LN,
Alachua). See below for directions.
