Hi Barb:
You did an awesome job organizing the Spring Bee ChainRing Challenge! I want to thank you for the strong pulls and Carrie too. You both Rock!! You made it special giving each rider a very bright wrist band according to the bee group they were riding, the road signs along the route and the chocolate macaroons at ride end, yum!
Thank you for making our morning so fun!
The other Barb

Fellow GCCers,
The Spring Bee Chainring Challenge was a load of fun today! We had 21 riders participate in three groups--the LoBees, Tween Bees and Bee-17s. Between dropped water bottles, loose dogs, a flat tire, vicious headwinds on the return home and the constant threat of thunderstorms, this ride had it all!
A special thanks to everyone who turned out for the Inaugural Spring Bee. Thanks for being adventurous enough to come along for the ride! I also want to thank Bob Newman and Ed Gardner for leading the LoBees and Bee-17s. It was really great to see everyone chatting at the rest stop with riders from other "Bee" groups! Let's face it--Bees ROCK!!!
I hope to see a few more of you at the next Chainring Challenge!
