The Saddle Tramps will ride Sunday,  March 25th, from Powers Park on Hawthorne Road/Hwy 20, four miles from the intersection of East University and Hawthorne Road.  Our meeting time will be 9:00 a.m. for an on-time 9:15 a.m. departure.  There's a 30% chance of rain at the ride start time, so stay tuned for updates if the weather looks as though it might deteriorate. 

We'll ride Hawthorne Road or the GH Trail to C.R. 234 north to Windsor Boat Ramp, the back roads to Melrose, and loop around for a return to Windsor and Powers Park.  Approximately 38 miles which should take about 3½ hours. 

There are bathrooms at Powers Park, Owens-Illinois boat ramp on the east side of Newnans Lake, and there is a convenience store in Melrose at approximately half way.  These roads are very scenic, relatively flat, and usually have little traffic on them.  The Saddle Tramps generally ride from 12 to 15 mph.
